Ring Constriction

This lady had an injury to her hand and noted afetr a few days she had pain and swelling of the fingers

 

 

The presence of a constriction ring in the presence of injury will result in severe further constriction secondary to the swelling.

The result is vascular compromise and this patient had  to undergo surgery as follows
